Every now and then, we make mistakes – as a result, welcome to our ‘Oops’ page.
If you have any problems with charts or kits, check the list below, or contact us by email. We will do our best to help and solve the issue.
SWEEPING PLAINS FJP-1057:
A small ‘computer glitch’ – Some of the original charts have an ‘illegible’ Symbol column in the Colour Key. Please email us at: fiona@countrythreads.info for the replacement page.
REMEMBRANCE DAY CROSS STITCH KIT FJ-1064:
The correct date for Remembrance Day is 11th November, 1918. There is an error in the backstitching instructions on the chart. Please add one more backstitch across the centre of the ‘0’ to turn it into an ‘8’. Apologies for any inconvenience.
CHICKENS SCRATCHING : FJ-1086:
The symbols in key numbers 13 and 31 are the same. Hole 13 is ‘pumpkin orange’ colour and Hole 31 is a pale ‘straw’ colour. Please email: fiona@country threads for a replacement chart.
SADDLE-UP BLUEY : FJ-1087:
The symbols in key numbers 3 and 35 are the same. Hole 3 is a’mid brown’ colour and Hole 35 is a dark green. Please email: fiona@country threads for a replacement chart.
COUNTRY THREADS CHARTS:
In some of the printed charts (listing the DMC Colours for Stranded Cottons) the fabric conversion for 16 ct material is incorrect.
If the design size measures 17.5 cms x 38.5 cms – then the material size should read 32 cms x 55 cms. If you have already purchased the fabric and started stitching on 16 count, don’t panic, there is enough material to complete the design. We normally allow for approximately 7 cms extra fabric around the design, in this case you will still have approx 4 cms spare.
DISCONTINUED COLOURS:
A small range of the DMC Tapestry Wools have been discontinued, some of these being used in the Country Threads Tapestries. Your local craft supplier has a list of the colours and the suggested replacements.
There have been no DMC Colours in the Stranded Cotton Range discontinued. The full colour palette still exists.
